What have we done weeks 7-9

Solar group:

Research about government aid for renewable energy and Finland´s weather conditions affect solar panel output. Information about different types of material and types that are used in solar panels.  Contacted other companies about their prices for installing the solar panels on the top of the building afterwards researched about what to do with the excess electricity that we may produce. Calculations about the leasing and buying aspects of the solar panels. Also which is the most cost-effective way to get the solar panels and if bought what is the time it takes to break even and start producing income

Data collection from the factory´s database about waste management. Mapping waste process in factory and collecting history data of bio waste and landfill waste. Calculations of waste cost and calculations for waste removal cost benefits. Contacting with cooperation partners concerning bio and landfill waste. Brainstorming prototype alternatives and drawing prototype with specific program.
